About the project

Children of more than 10 nationalities study at Kalinka School.

Many of our students have arrived in Luxembourg only recently, and many of our school's students live in the Greater Region.

Therefore, the aim of the project "Once Upon a Time in Luxembourg" was to promote the integration of children into Luxembourg society, allowing them to deepen their knowledge of the history, culture and everyday life of Luxembourg.

Children born in Luxembourg and familiar with the country's unique characteristics actively participated in the preparation of various events as part of our project. We held quest lessons, excursions, presentations, master classes, and performances.

The project was designed for three academic years: 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25.

The first project took place in 2010-2014.
