September 16 - start of the school year
The guys, our students, came rested, full of strength and energy to gain new knowledge.
We were also glad to meet new students, who from everysmoke gOdom is becoming more and more.
We wish children, parents and teachers a joyful, eventful school year with new knowledge and discoveries!!!!
October 21 - Day of Primer
The world of reading is a real space, full of interesting and fascinating knowledge, bright stories and the most exciting adventures!
And, of course, you can get into it only after undergoing flight training - Primer, which our Finches successfully completed!
On Saturday, October 21, we set off together to conquer the Planets of Letters, collect treasures, solve sometimes complex and ambiguous puzzles, rejoicing and thanking the Primer for new limitless possibilities!
Our friendly space team coped with all the challenges, and each participant received a memorable gift about this day, a real guiding stick for exploring new books horizons!
November 11 - holiday "Golden Autumn"
Autumn is a magical time of year, the most colorful! No wonder so many poems, songs and paintings are dedicated to autumn. And the children of our school dedicated their concert to this time of year. They sang autumn songs, read poems, played games, danced, solved riddles and staged skits.
November 25 - vocal competition "Nightingale Trill"
On November 25, the school hosted the annual vocal competition “Nightingale Trill.”
Every year more and more stars are lit up at the competition.
This year the children surprised us with the variety of their song repertoire and also delighted us with their playing of musical instruments.
All the guys performed well and received certificates and gifts.
And the winners were:
Junior category - Evgenia Denigo and Mark Geisler;
Middle category - Victoria Geisler;
Senior category - Sevastyan Nahas;
Category "Ensemble" - first place was shared by two duets, Yesenia Ivanova and Anna Indizio and sisters Anissa and Milana Abbas.
We thank all the children for their participation and the emotions they gave us all. We wish you creative success and victories!

December 16th - New Year's holiday
This day was very cheerful and joyful at Kalinka school.
Father Frost and Snow Maiden came to visit the children. They sang songs, danced in a circle and played with the children, and the boys and girls recited poems about winter and the New Year holiday.
And, of course, our snow guests did not come to school empty-handed - they gave the children delicious gifts.
And for all the children there was also a performance - the play "The Nutcracker", which was prepared by the wonderful artists of the school theater studio "Igra".
Overall, the party was a great success. All the kids went home happy and cheerful.

January 27 - School Chess Tournament

There was a chess tournament at school on Saturday.
The boys and girls fought like lions.
There were victories and defeats.
In any case, all the participants of the tournament got a good experience of official games, when you can rely only on your own strength and acquired knowledge, make decisions yourself, feel the joy of victories and the bitterness of defeats. This is what distinguishes this wonderful game.
All winners were awarded valuable prizes. At the end of the year we will hold another tournament and compare the results.
We wish all participants further success!

March 16 - Maslenitsa celebration
To celebrate Maslenitsa, senior students prepared a production based on N.A. Ostrovsky’s play “The Snow Maiden”.
A wonderful holiday gift for all the students of our school!








April 20 - Thematic lessons for Cosmonautics Day "Secrets of the Universe"
On Saturday, classes at Kalinka School held lessons on the topic “Secrets of the Universe”.
In the middle category, lessons were devoted to space.
The guys surprised us with their knowledge in this area.
They knew well about weightlessness, and about satellites, and about planets, and about meteorites, and about stars. Therefore, riddles, crosswords, quests and competitions turned out to be easy for them.
The children also enjoyed singing songs about space, satellites, planets, meteorites and stars.
And we don’t dream of the roar of the cosmodrome…






May 18 - recitation competition "Children read about everything in the world"
On May 18, the Kalinka School hosted the 2024 Readers' Contest, which brought together talented children from the junior, middle and senior categories. The event became a real holiday for all participants and spectators, the children demonstrated a high level of preparation and love for literature.
The young readers delighted the audience with their sincere and emotional performances.
The winners of the competition were:
Junior category:
First place was shared by Evgeny Kodin and Aelis Ruzo.
Second place – Brown Flynn and Melania Horvath.
Third place – Alisa Kruteneva.
The Audience Award went to Brown Flynn.
Middle category:
First place was shared by Anya Connors and Damir Miklin.
Second place – Valeria Leigle.
Third place – Maria Radicati.
Senior category:
First place – Sebastian Nahas.
Second place – Illarion Lotarev.
Third place – Isabella Indizio.
The Audience Award was shared between Anya Konors and Damir Miklin, where the opinions of the jury and the audience completely coincided.
Melania Horvat, Igor Fedotov and Dmitry Aevsky received special prizes from the Russian Embassy in Luxembourg.
We congratulate the winners and express our gratitude to all participants for their skill, artistry and sincerity. We would like to express special gratitude to the parents and teachers who supported the children and helped in preparing for the competition.

"The Traveling Frog"
On Saturday, the Kalinka school theatre studio presented its new production, the play "The Travelling Frog", to our students.
A very unusual interpretation of the famous story about a frog delighted the young spectators, who thanked the artists with thunderous applause.
