On the last Saturday before the holidays for high school students, Tolstoy Saturday was held - a school day dedicated to the life and work of the greatest Russian writer and thinker - the Earl Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy.
The children were able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the XIX century.
They got acquainted with an excerpt from the performance based on the story by L.N. Tolstoy "Childhood. Adolescence. Youth.", compared their education and upbringing with how it happened in noble families, listened to a fascinating tour about the life of the great Russian writer, watched one of the most emotionally filled scenes from S. Bondarchuk's film "War and Peace" - the first ball of Natasha Rostova.
And this amazing day ended with a waltz lesson, where schoolchildren and teachers for a moment felt like participants in that same ball.
