A master class was held at the Kalinka school to introduce one of the unusual techniques of painting with melted wax, called "Encaustic".
This is an artistic technique that dates back to Ancient Greece. The word "encaustic" in Greek means "burning".
In this technique, wax is melted onto the hot surface of a special iron and then applied to paper or cardboard.
The paints are applied to the base while hot and after hardening retain their brightness and saturation for many years.

The guys managed to draw a landscape in an unusual 'hot' technique. Bravo!!!
