East-West United Bank and Kalinka School held annual financial literacy classes for children aged 8-13.

The purpose of the lessons is to introduce children to financial concepts and stimulate interest in further study of the topics raised during the lessons.

Bank representatives told the guys:

• what is a budget and how to save up for a dream;

• what is a bank card and how to protect it from fraudsters;

• what are stocks and bonds;

• what investment options exist and which ones are available to children;

• how the bank works and why the bank has the profession of a compliance officer;

• what are taxes.

All participants received the EWUB Young Banker certificate.
