Visit to the Luxembourg Museum of History and Art

Writer: School KalinkaSchool Kalinka

On Saturday, February 10, classes at the Kalinka school were held in an on-site format. Secondary category students visited the National Museum of History and Art.

This museum, located in the upper city, is very rich in artifacts from all eras of Luxembourg history.

How did primitive people live?

How does their home differ from modern ones?

What was the ancient pin - fibula - used for and what was it made of?

How did you store food before?

What did you eat from?

What did you travel on?

What is mosaic?

Who are the muses?

Our students looked for answers to these and other questions by examining the museum exhibits.

Veronica Lobanova, an art teacher, also held a master class on making bookmarks, which the children decorated with an antique geometric motif - a meander.
