The main goal of the Russian as a foreign language program at the Kalinka school is to create motivation for learning the Russian language and immerse students in the language environment.

To do this, our teachers use modern communicative and interactive methods of teaching the Russian language. The lessons actively use audio-visual materials and role-playing games, which contribute to a more successful development of colloquial speech and the assimilation of new material.

Our training program takes into account the peculiarities of teaching children Russian as a non-native language and includes:
- development of speech skills
- learning the alphabet and learning to read
- learning to write
- linguistic rhythm
- musical and speech development
- familiarity with linguocultural realities

The study of Russian as a foreign language includes familiarity with all aspects of the Russian language: in parallel with learning to speak, the development of reading and writing skills, as well as familiarity with the grammar of the Russian language.

The study of grammar does not assume only the learning of terms and memorization of a number of rules, but is based on the use of speech models. Particular attention is paid to pronunciation and intonation.

To create dynamic exciting lessons, the method of alternating activities is used: the lesson process includes fun warm-ups, counting rhymes, outdoor games, work at the blackboard.

The consolidation of knowledge occurs through the game and active interaction with the material being studied.
